Green Velvet Cupcake with Creme de Menthe Butter Cream

Here's a St. Patrick's day cupcake idea....green velvet! I used my red velvet cupcake recipe but used green food coloring instead of red, pumped it full of marshmallow cream filling, iced it with creme de menthe butter cream and topped it off with little green shamrock sprinkles.
I love it! I think it just screams St. Patrick's day

  2. Thank you ! Go to joyofbaking.com and use the red velvet cupcake recipe but instead of red food dye use green. I iced this cupcake with butter cream icing flavored with creme de menthe flavoring. The recipe for red velvet is a very good one. I've used several recipes and this one is the best!
